I tamed a level 53 (came out higher) carbonemys as my first tame ever. Named him Bowser, obviously. Idc what anyone here says, it was great. My boy bowser kept me safe for weeks before I lost him (literally lost, he never died) when he sacrificed himself to fight a spino while we got our raft the fuck outta the hell hole we found ourself in.

Run around in circles and keep doing this until it is knocked out. Once knocked out, you can feed it berries or regular kibble to tame it. Once fed and tamed, you can ride it around with a saddle.
