How do you turn off captions on xfinity.
3 years ago. Okay, so I hit the pause button and then the down arrow. Works with other on demand and streaming channels. Peacock still doesn't work by this method. I have tried hitting the center button on my xf1 remote and then using the left arrow. I have tried pause and using the left arrow.

Then, scroll to the left text bubble icon and select/click None. Please allow 30 seconds for the subtitles to turn off. Can’t turn off audio description. I am watching Xfinity stream through my fire tv and can’t get the audio description to stop. I have gone into settings/accessibility/audio description it is already off.
