How to increase dino level cap in ark.
There is no way to remove the motion limits with settings changes. The mutation limit is not real. It was implemented early into arks days, but was broken, and by the time the devs figured it out, people had surpassed the limit, so instead they created a dino level limit of 450 on official servers.

The cap was a response to dinos on the centre hatching wild then being knocked out to get tamed again reaching crazy levels which is why ALL dinos over lvl 450 were wiped. The point of the original post was to discuss removing the cap as it serves no purpose now other than limiting how far a dino can be bred.So I have been having some trouble finding a simple way to do this. So below I am including the script in my game.ini file on my server. It raises dino and player cap to 150. Used a code generator for most of it. I am putting it out there for anyone to use. The issue people were having is not setting the max xp allowed on your server. This raises the cap to 500k. YOu can easily edit any number ... DifficultyOffset=1.000000. Then once your server/game is back up and running execute the DestroyWildDinos console command. EX: cheat DestroyWildDinos. I have searched and read a lot about it but it only ever refers to the MP side of things. I have heard "rumours" that there IS a cap of some sort in SP but nothing concrete. Basically I would like to know this so that I know when to stop breeding up to allow for ... I really like the way they've changed how you breed mutations now. It's so much easier. They've separated the mutations from the base tame stat. So now, just go grab a bunch of dinos to breed, doesn't matter the level, and start breeding for mutations. Then, while you're stacking those mutations, go hunting for max levels to tame. Change difficulty to 6. Be careful not to go too high! Whatever you number you put in there is multiplied by 30 to get the max dino level. Since 500 isn't divided equally by 30, you'll need to do the math and determine what number you want there. 16.6 should do it. might be a bit off but change the decimal number up or down to get it closer.

Remember to perform a dino wipe after doing so, new settings only apply to freshly spawned creatures. It can be done using the following command in the console. DestroyWildDinos. Just to clarify, although 450 is the cap it's not like you hit 450 and the Dino vanishes. You either have to upload it or leave it out when the servers update or restart for it to get deleted. But if it's in cryo it won't disappear even during updates. It's 450. So don't level past 449.Any dino you have can go up 50-60 levels but thats ALL . so your lvl 20 dino can get to max lvl 80, but your lvl 120 tame that becomes 179 (when perfectly tamed) can also gain those 50-60 levels and be lvl 239. There is no command sadly to fix those low level dinos - you will need to get higher level ones to get more powerful ones. 1.To increase the overall levels of dinos, you have to use; OverrideOfficialDifficulty=10 to get level 300 dinos spawning in. The default setting is 1, and it increases the max level of wild dinos by 30 each level for each point you increase it with.
