Have 2019 3500 Duramax with 73k on the mileage that I had a check engine light come on. Dropped it off at the Chevy dealer yesterday and they have notified me that it was a bad #1 Nox Sensor. Problem is they don't have it in stock and are on backorder with no date in stock.Nox1 gets a reading, def injected, nox 2 gets a reading. If the nox2 reading is not low enough, more def is injected and if it can't keep nox 2 low enough it throws a code. Could be a nox sensor out of calibration, or bad def, or bad def injection system. You can get a limp for nox reduction system too. But it normally gives a countdown first.

Emissions equipment is under warranty for 10 years or 120,000 miles. Edit: the emissions stuff should, I wouldn’t think they would put up a fight about the intake. At least mine wouldn’t. I think the derringer is questionable as to warranty. I’ve heard mixed things on that.
