I keep both items in my inventory, but when i click on the fire, the option to light the fire only appears for the lighter and matches. Currently you can use a knife or screwdriver to craft a notched plank out of logs, bypassing the need for a saw to make planks. It's moot, because you still need a saw to make a sturdy stick out of planks, but it seems inconsistent, because if I can make a notched plank out of logs, I should also be able to craft a sturdy stick out of logs.
