There might be some sort of serial number, but I don't see how it would be remotely read. The only number that would be unique to OP's individual Steam Deck is MAC address but those are a) not guaranteed to be unique b) easily changed. FedEx refuses to deliver to my building most days and when it does, things get stolen. I’m kind of worried I won’t ever see my Deck due to FedEx’s incompetence in my area, but the fact that I can’t ship it to a FedEx location for pick up is a real slight on Valve’s part imo.
