The reason they don't connect via wireless backhaul is because the G3100/E3200 used a second 5 GHz Band to connect wirelessly. The CR1000A doesn't have the second 5 GHz band. It is designed to connect to the CME1000 Wi-Fi Extender Mini using the 6 GHz band. The E3200s are used because the CME1000s have an inventory shortage right now.
