It may cause wrinkling on the underside of the cup, near the wire, and cause the wires to press uncomfortably into your rib area. I don't think I measured incorrectly 😭 It was definitely the full bust measurement. I used the diagrams on the ABTF website. I didn't apply any pressure when measuring, especially because my breasts are firm. Just measured again and my Leaning/Lying measurements are closer to 31.
