Keep In mind thou, that archers aren't As good In melee As crossbow units thou, And if You Face an infantry heavy army, you might have To go into melee with your ranged units. If You absolutely want To go archers instead of crossbows, I would recommend 60/40 Or even maybe 50/50 ratio. Anyhow, that is just my two cents. In the United States Army, the acronym SSG stands for staff sergeant. A staff sergeant carries an enlisted rank of E-6. Comparable ranks in other branches of the U.S.They also beat heavy cav pretty easily. Also they are extremely fast. Also, with the khuzait speed buff and only horses in your army, you can pick and choose your engagement. Also khuzait culture buffs cav in combat too i think. You can crate your own troops eith my little warband if you want.
