One quick (ish) thing you can do is put the car in neutral and jack up each front tire one at a time. First, rotate the tire forwards and backwards and see if you hear any clunking. Nov 28, 2011 · The best way that I could tell ya is to look at the bushings and see if they are worn. If the nut on top is loose, take it the rest of the way off.. and go drive around and see if the noise goes away. Take both sides off, believe its a 14mm nut. The push up on the sway bar to get the bar away from the links. Test drive.
