Was a little disappointed not to see a bump in mpg's, but at least its soot free now. The air intake heater grid comes on for a few minutes during warm-up, when the temp outside is, IIRC, below 40°F.This should abort the grid heater cycle and self test that throws the light. Ambient temp and coolant temp can also abort a cycle. For a year i turned the key instantly with the grid heater attached. If is does not than it most likely is the Glow Plug / Intake Air Heater Relay, as it should not be needed above 50deg. Jim.

More than I wanted to spend, but the only company that makes them specifically for the C&C trucks and plus I like the idea of the added flow of the intake horn.
