Checked that show notifications is turned on in the phone and display text messages on the Intellilink phone setup. Unpaired device and paired it again didn't help.After leaving your vehicle off for at least 15 minutes open up the hood and locate your battery. Disconnect both terminals of your battery and wait 30 seconds before reconnecting them. Hopefully this may solve the issue but if not you may need to reset the GMC Intellilink. From your touch screens home screen choose settings.

Screen goes black. Nothing. No speakers nothing. Look down and wife’s still on the phone. Pick up the phone to see if she’s still there. Yup. Screen shows GMC and reboots. Carplay and phone come back and back to phone conversation. Screen doesn’t show maps so I hit the CarPlay app on the flat screen and boom. Black screen again.
