Having 3/6 in IR worked fine. My power adapter only produces 1.2A out. Found an adapter on Amazon that works for lorex that have a 5A output (link below). Switched out the power adapter and splitter, and rebooted it and everything worked through the night in IR! If it shits the bed I'll update this comment but everything is working!
