The .45-70 is a great gun. Maybe for the center of the Africa map where ranged shots are more common (esp. with current animal senses) the .270 is a better fit. It's hard to know what the best weapons are and where to find them! There are a LOT of options when it comes to purchasing DLC weapons in The Hunter Call of... On the right chose rifle and drop and drag it into the numbered slot on the right that you want that item to be in so lets use your 243 for example. If you want to use your 1 key to pull up your 243 then drag that rifle to slot one.
