Remove the slide from the frame, use your fingers to pull the spring up out of the reverse plug...it only has to be pulled up about 1/8" and the end butted against the barrel link will pop up.gunfu45. Kimber sights are on extremely tight. According to Dennis at Kimber, you should only attempt removing them if you have experience and a sight pusher or you could risk damaging the slide. If you want to install Meprolight sights, it is best to send your slide to Kimber for installation.
