I ordered a TV from Costco today and had it delivered via Instacart. When received, I didn't pay much attention because there was an issue with the phone signature and I was helping the shopper troubleshoot. After the shopper left, I realized they delivered the wrong TV. The delivered TV was about $300, while the ordered TV was around $500.Instacart is a slimy scam company with representatives who will literally lie to you just to get you off the phone. I've used Instacart for years with no issues, but today this exact scam happened to me, and I won't be using it again. The shopper picked out our items suspiciously quickly, and added 10x quantities to expensive items, adding on over $100 to the order. In the chat, he said his app glitched but he spoke to customer service and it was all good.
