Eco Mode does not make a difference. Idle isrough regardless. Loss of power is a bit better. Rough idle is intermittent. On many cars the computer will lose its memory if the battery is disconnected or run dead and will have to relearn "minimum throttle" before it will know when it has to be in control of idle speed. I just performed a test on my own Kia Soul, (full spec's in my signature line) and here's what I found. At a cold start, my idling RPM was at 1300. After a brief warm up, that dropped to ~1000 RPM. Putting the AT in Drive, resulted in a drop to ~790 RPM. Turning on the AC, resulted in another drop, to ~750 RPM.I have a 2015 Soul+, 2.0 liter, auto transmission, 90k miles. I'm getting some intermittent misfires when at idle when in Park and also when the car the car is in Drive stopped at a redlight/stop sign with the brake pedal depressed.
