Lml duramax crank no start.
143 posts · Joined 2022. #4 · Mar 9, 2022. I had the tcm go out on my lml. Flashing service stabilitrack and traction control on the display. Was followed with a P0700 code. Loss of power, stuck in gear, hard shifts especially going Into reverse. I believe a bad tcm can also cause a no crank aswell but not 100% sure on this.

Jun 8, 2020 · 2015 lml crank no start low fuel pressure. Looking for some input. I’m troubleshooting my 2015 lml, died on the side of the road low rail pressure P128e and the change fuel filter message. The system was loaded up with air so I made up an auxiliary tank to the inlet of the filter housing, primer pumps hard after 4-5 pushes.
Came back, turned it off, tried to restart. It cranked, fired, ran for about 3 seconds then back to no crank/no start. Tried to disconnect the BCM again and pulled the fuse for 20 minutes but no luck. Mine was loosing prime and would either stall or not start. I did 2 things to fix the problem. I rebuilt the primer on the fuel filter housing and replace the bleed screw on the filter housing. That fixed my problem. Someone makes a billet bleed screw.

Close the vent and pump it till the plunger won't move any longer. Once it is hard, try and start the truck. If it does not start, pump it til it is hard again and repeat as necessary. Unplug the fuel pressure regulator 2 (pressure control valve in left hand rail) electrical connector. Crank the engine for 15 seconds and verify there is a steady flow of fuel from the fitting on the rail.

It will fire a few times but the just continue turning over with the starter. The cold side intake tube just before the butterfly is wet with what smells like fuel.After tear down, noticed stress cracks around the bowls of the pistons (no surprise there). Customer opted to tear down further for an engine rebuild with some upgraded parts to eliminate weak points. One of those upgrades being a Callies Durastar crankshaft.
