If you ignored Ikora's reward, then the next time an Exotic drop (25-30% rate) from Helmet Day LLS it will (most likely) be Loreley. And the next time an Exotic drop on Chest Day LLS it will (most likely) be Hoarfrost. If it takes you 3 minutes to do legend and 8 to do master then master is not worth it. If it takes 4 minutes to do legend and 4:20 to do master then master is better. Master lost sectors do have a higher drop rate, but because legend can be run much faster it works out to be faster to farm legend instead of master.

Lost sectors should usually give the specific (new) armour pieces first, based on what type is on offer that day (leg, chest head etc) and after they drop random exotic armour based on what you don't have already. If you already have all the exotic armour in the world loot pool then you just get random rerolls of them.It sucks that on some LS's I can burn then in 2-3 mins flat at 1850 and not get a single drop for 8+ runs, then other LS's I can burn in 2-3 mins but get them to drop almost every other run. I legit feel like certain lost sectors have skewed reward percentages based on "how difficult" bungie deem them to be internally and adjust the drop rates ...

For Solo runs of Master Lost Sectors, it says exotics are "common". However, I've run this damn lost sector 10 times in a row by myself and not one single exotic has dropped. All that drops each time is Enhancement Cores and some purple engrams.

Legend lost sectors should give a guaranteed drop, and Master lost sectors should give a guaranteed high-stat exotic drop.
