I think you're just too early. Last year NJ Transit didn't post the advisory announcing the 2018 bus service to Great Adventure until March 29. Keep in mind that the 2018 schedule shows that in October the bus only ran Friday-Sunday plus Columbus Day. There were a few weekdays when the park was open but there was no bus service.
