(Check your local area's laws regarding diesel cars). If the turbo fails it's about $1200 new. Add the dpf to that too since the turbo typically pukes oil into the dpf which clogs it with oil. The serpentine belt can also fail if diesel fuel leaks on it. p01450 ford 3mpg is a bit low. Many are reporting 10mpg, and two guys on this thread are reporting 3-5mpg.
