Was working fine a minute ago. All of a sudden they don't accept energy. I have enough power. The inscriber can't take energy through import/export busses or interfaces. Connect a cable to the back of the inscribers and they'll get power. Super easy AE2 inscriber automation using hoppers. You could make this one block thinner - adjacent Chests and Trapped Chests don't connect. Cool idea though! I may do something like this next time around. Probably with itemducts / EnderIO conduits rather than hoppers, though.
