Leo ring's not worth it though. It only increases physical damage, and you're probably infusing it with dark or chaos. I think honestly that the estoc is better, however you can parry with the rapier in the offhand. That spell doesn't scale up with your pyro glove; it gives a flat 40% damage boost whether you've got a pyro flame +1 or +15, so don't worry about spending souls on it. As far as stats go, I'd say 15 Int for buffs, 12 or 14 Att depending on how many spell slots you want. Then pump the rest into dex, vit, and end. Whenever someone invades me, I, for the most part, cheese them mercilessly with but a few simple light stabs from Estoc. It's absolutely insane how much damage it does, in both PvE and PvP, and I've yet to fight anyone else who uses it. I'm the only person I've run into who seems to use the glory that is Bestoc.

Estoc seems to be a bit op, all the benefits of the rapier + mad range and more damage. It doesn't even consume more stamina, and the strong attack is a cool sweep. Raw weapons (like fire and deep weapons) just raise the base damage but don't give you damage bonus depending on your stats anymore (the scaling). Other infusions change on which stats and how much damage bonus you get. Also, no need to buy a new estoc, you can re-infuse a weapon you infused.

The Estoc is basically a STR-build's rapier, capable of a side-swipe one-handed R2 that can catch people off guard. It also has some really goofy phantom-range. It get's B-STR-scaling upon maxing it out and also B-scaling to whatever element you infuse it with. Dark infused estoc? I use a hex mage so I already set him up with a dark estoc. :) The rapier only needs 5str 12dex, where the estoc requires 12/12, but yh it wasn't really a serious suggestion as it all depends on preference, if you don't like the parry on R2 the rapier is no good tbh.

The base damage+scaling+140/120 counter rating+leo ring (12,5% counter boost) is very powerful. Too much damage is lost to split defenses when you infuse a rapier with an elemental.

The fucking estoc just has rediculous range, coupled with the lag it's increadibly hard to outrage it, and only few weapons actually can in theory anyways. i have 60/36 int\fth with 16/16 str/dex and i've been using the rapier/estoc like crazy. I used the enchanted my rapier, and honestly the damage increase as been pretty nice, but it's almost the same. maybe at most, 50-100ish damage more per stab.
