Somewhere on this site I posted a blury pic of my DSA aluminum lower showing the wear on the recoil plate after about 1500 rounds. I run mine without a shock buffer, and the wear was trivial. Another poster mentioned the issue of the hammer pin holes wallowing after a time, but I haven't noticed any of that with mine.
