Just tried to do Garuda and suffered heavy lag spikes--like the whole game freezing for a solid 5 seconds before catching up. I died a lot because of this, but still managed to help some FC people through her :\. Also on comcast, behemoth. Getting massive lag spikes just crafting in town, even in out-of-the-way areas.
The programs I am using to tackle the issue of frame stutter are as follows: MSI Afterburner On-screen Server and D3Doverrider. It does help in borderless windowed but as soon as your FPS drop below the 60 fps mark the stutters come back. Was having terrible lag that started about less than half an hour ago that started halfway through my Prae run. I wasn’t having lag spikes; my ping was consistently high the whole time (800 to 900ish, with slightly higher than normal – but not noticeable – packet loss). Spikes in cpu usage while playing ffxiv causes insane lag spikes. When playing ff14 and only ff14 sometimes my CPU usage jumps to 100% and the state repository service seems to be causing this. It only happens with ff14, no other games. I can't find anyone who has had a similar issue online. My cpu is a Ryzen 7 3700X and my gpu is an rtx 2070.
