The 2019 Chevy Silverado was affected by a recall related to its air conditioning system in August 2019. The recall affected approximately 463,995 trucks and was related to the same issue as the 2016, 2017, and 2018 models - a faulty compressor clutch. This issue could cause the air conditioning system to fail.
Start the engine. Turn on the AC and set it to the coldest setting, and the fan speed to maximum. Remove the cap from the low pressure service port labelled L, and connect the AC recharge kit.
