Here are the details: it is a 2 3/4, but with a Hastings barrel (marked 2 3/4 or 3) that was installed by the previous owner. The gun loads snap caps and shells fine and will even cycle unshot loads (and snap caps), however after ...Old-style barrel threads have pitch i.e. "angle" in them, new style barrels do not. There is no way to modify new threads properly to fit an old gun.
