It has trouble cycling and I have disassemblied it to clean the action spring. However, when I go to re-assemble the bolt to the action slide assembly; I am not sure about the bolt buffer. The M-51 is a 10 minute cleaning--no O rings to fret. So--both guns are great shooters--the ease of cleaning and maintenance GREATLY favors the Ithaca M-51.
