I've always used the Lake of Shadows cheese spot for the boss since I only play Nightfalls solo. I've never really had any trouble, I farmed it a ton last season when it was double rewards. But this week I'm having way more trouble with the Taken Knight fire grenades, like it seems they're always hitting me no matter where I am on the platform.

First try, me and my 2 LFG pickups made it to the boss room. The Strand Hunter had no issue grappling to the cheese spot. At that point, the strategy was "do as much damage as possible and then let the Strand Hunter finish the boss off." Lake of Shadows is rough at the midway boss. Other then that it wasn’t awful. Arms Dealer isn’t hard. That damn Chimera mini boss is more annoying than any Tormentor I’ve come across. The tracking and splash damage radius is wild. Arms is easy, lake is pain. Arms dealer is pretty fun, not too bad a change overall.

The revamp to Lake of Shadows is terrible. I know it's not a new or unique opinion. It's just so damn tedious and annoying of a strike. Two payload escorts, spam waves, two additional 'bosses', obnoxious threshers, etc. It's not hard just so painfully tedious. The only change I liked is the ending boss mechanic.
