I use OPI’s Nail Envy. It’s 100% the reason why I’m able to grow my nails out at all. And a bottle lasts a really long time - I notice that it starts to be less effective at around 1/4 of a bottle left (by which I mean, when I use it at a base coat, my nail polish chips more quickly with an old bottle than a new one), but getting to that point takes a while for me.Mooncat is growing, slowly in amount. In comparison to ILNP their formula is thicker, and on myself dries faster ILNP. For me ILNP applies thinly, but typically requires a coat or two extra. I don't own any Mooncat that needs a third coat. Even Dragon Scales, which is a glittery flakie is a 2 coat for me.

So here is a video about how to use cuticle remover to it's full potential. Like MelbyToast, I probably do this about once a month or so. It will remove the excess cuticle from the nail plate (which can stop nail polish from adhering properly), and also clean up the edges of cuticle around your eponychium.
