However, with the upgraded action, polished satin finish, Pelican Vault case, and the addition of the wood grips, I personally think it is a reasonable price point.

I had read a thorough and very favorable article on it and was able to get the feel of it in an out-of-state gun shop (where I was not eligible to buy it).The Taurus Judge is an American favorite that’s not really best at anything, other than giving the shooter a tonne of fun. For us, it’s more of a “style and feel” type of choice revolver. Inevitably, some will love it, and some will hate it. Our very strong verdict on the Taurus Judge .410 Revolver is that we love it!

I bought the Hogue Grip and I love it. However, It took 3 trips to different hardware before I found the right socket bolt. It is the M4-.7x40mm Socket Head. I started with the bolt in package, then went to 25,30,35, and last was the 40 mm. I am so happy now that I have the Hogue Grip installed.I have the judge poly and just broke my front sight. I looked on Amazon and found a fiber optic replacement kit for about 15 bucks. I haven't bought it yet but eventually will. You might check there for repair kits. They are rated for the 45 colt but not the Ruger only loads. Max load for a 225 grain jacketed bullet is only 7.5 grain. As said before 7.3 for 230 lead.
