Nov 18, 2021 · Hi All, I'm the original owner of a 2003 Z71 Tahoe with a 5.3L Vortec engine. It has 260,000 miles and has never given engine trouble. However, it currently has an oil leak, which I've been told is the rear main seal. Apparently, this is fairly common. Also, it's developed an electrical issue or two that are more inconveniences than problems.
