If you test the fuel pressure at the fuel rail with a pressure tester it should read about 32 psi with the vacuum hoses all attatched, if it does indeed read ...I know the earlier TJs were 5/16". I can tell you for sure the stock 2006 TJ fuel pump I am using for my Hemi swap is 3/8" for sure. I ran an all new fuel line from the in-tank pump to my fuel rail without any other breaks in the line. I used a straight 3/8" connector at the tank and a 90 degree 3/8" at the fuel rail.

If you just broke the hose you should be able to replace the hose or maybe, if you're lucky, the fitting. If you broke the fuel rail, you need a new one from the JY.CJ 7 Fuel Line Diagram. Hey guys, so I decided a week or so ago to replace the evap lines after the annoying CEL came on with a large and small leak detected. I checked the lines and a majority are dry rotted. So I want to replace em all.Unfortunately Jeep 'went on the cheap' and did away with the schrader valve on the 04 4.0L fuel rail.
