Can't get this finishing badge to activate and its currently on gold. I've tried starting my dunk from the free throw line, but it still doesn't activate (even if he does end up dunking). I have Vince Carter dunk package posterizer - gold slithery finisher - silver driving dunk - 90 vertical - 70 speed with ball - 70 ball handle - 75

It took me a long time to figure out the dunking badges, animations, and triggers. Limitless takeoff barely triggers < 10% of the time on bromze/silver. Irrelevant here because you have HOF. Only certain dunk packages can trigger takeoff, and your best bet is buy as many of them as you can and equip them in dunk style creator.

Try using the dunk meter, I like to use it coming off a screen, once you see a lane to the rim you can start pulling down on the right stick (while holding turbo) and it will take off from around the ft line.
