The people are better. The uniform is better. Just don’t stay at Cracker Barrel for longer than you need to lol. I haven't worked at a Cracker Barrel in a really long time. It was my first serving job back in the 90's. lol That said, the menu is really cheap, and the clientele it attracts certainly wouldn't be optimal.
At my workplace lately the way my manager runs things he tends to keep the bare minimum staff to keep labor cost low. Unfortunately that means covering breaks can tend to get rough and chaotic. Service definitely slows down too. I’m curious how common this is in other places and if it is what do you do for your customers in order to problem ... Trendy Restaurant in a sprawling restaurant neighborhood. A 4 person table is usually $400-$600 depending on how much they order or drink.
