Stellaris purging.

It seems odd that no matter how despotic of an empire you're running you can't purge individual pops (regardless of species) of a faction you're trying to squash. I can set a faction to be suppressed at the cost of influence, but thats it. It doesn't seem to do very much. My fanatic xenophobe empire can purge entire species, but not a faction.

You must ensure you have some form of purge allowed in the policy menu (displacement is sufficient), give robots citizen rights, then go to species menu and change robots from citizen to residence rights; this will instantly switch them to undesirable and start purging them.
