If you put a ground vehicle in a ship, and then store that ship, the ground vehicle will be there when you spawn the ship. I do this all the time with a ROC in Valk/Taurus/etc. You can't "spawn" the ground vehicle inside the ship.. meaning, you can't start with an empty ship, and poof-the-magic-spawner get a vehicle to appear.
