I have a 2008 Acura MDX where my system in the car. is telling me to check the charging system so I did I. found it to be the first time a bad alternator I replaced. it boom it ran for a day and then the next day it was. that again in it like there's black corrosion around one. of the plugs on the alternator so I replace it again but.

The warning comes and goes. Took it to the dealer who told me it's a "known software issue", to disregard the warning, and that Acura was "working" on a fix. In the meantime, there appears to be no way to distinguish between a valid low battery warning and one that isn't. It will be interesting to see if Acura makes an effort to resolve the issue.
