By comparison, Brute gets a non-loss attack 5 +1xp at like lvl 3 or 4. As soon as you get to lvl 2 monsters and everything has shield, Tinkerer can't touch them, and doing 1 or 2 dmg a round is not helping. You can kill things, but only with loss cards, so you exhaust after killing 3 or 4 creatures.
