OnStar is cool, but try and talk them down. I just purchased a used 2013 GMC Terrain, and when I tried to pair my smartphone, I was unable to because the 'Phone Settings' option does not show up. The …I have seen the greyed out ICON for two reasons. One is the drive was not initially recognized by the system. Sometimes it is required that you pull out and reinsert the drive before it is recognized by the system. Sometimes more than once is needed. The other reason is that the drive is not formatted as FAT32.
