Here is the information and what I have tried: - NO SPARK -. - Gauges and all other electrical items (lights, etc.) work. - The crank position sensor has been checked at swapped. Both test at 1017 ohms. (proper number is 1000 ohms +/- 10%) - The coil measures at 2.2 ohms on each part of the primary side (1-2 and 2-3). Book says 0.4 ohms.

After a little tinkering turned out to by a cracked taillight had finally taken in enough sand mud and water to short and trip up the ecm into thinking I was riding the brake.

Skin back about 1/4" of insulation and slide on heat shrink. Solder the wire back together, dab on liquid electrical tape, slide the heat shrink over the area and heat. Voila, the short is fixed.
