I am building a second Verde though since I don't like slow Verde in other areas of the game.Unless you have Determination runes with 63% DEF main stat, it only makes sense (to me) to put ONE set (2 runes) on odd slots of each Icaru. A total of 3 sets. Highest def is from 63% DEF main stat on all three of slots 2,4,6. May also need Guard runes, and/or substats with multiple rolls into DEF % or flat DEF, and grindstones.

Discussion. I have a ~1 min DB12 Tricaru team, but wondering what steps do you take to speed it up? I can think of: Increase Verde damage. Put as much attack on tricarus. Look for damage attacking together artifacts. Put Tricaru (s) on crit damage (probably really high rune requirements?) Nah that's incorrect, the animation for the tmog is faster than the 2A skin. Unless you've got high quality runes to have high dmg on the three Icarus, the two transmogged Icarus should have good accuracy so they def break first during a team up and the regular Icaru (built with good dmg) comes in after the def break is applied.Tricaru is definitely core to speed dungeon teams and arguably the only viable DB12 team. My advice would be to build ONE Icaru 6*ed and 2Aed. Try to rune him up (using RTA rune management is convenient) and hit the def mark. The rune requirements for a basic tricaru team isn't that high. You just need your defense tower at something other than +0 and to farm guard runes. Determination/fight if you can but not necessary. Non budget is doing God mode twins runes. I have worse tricaru (no crit D) but slightly better verde (200 more atk and 13 more crit D) but I still have a 45s average with fastest times at 42, slowest at 50. ... I'm just kinda hitting a wall because I don't farm fight runes, but anyways i don't believe tricaru Can go below 36/37s

According to seishizo, fight sets are way better than determination sets as a hard hitting verd is a lot better than tricaru combined dps damage. Reply cromatkastar ...
